01 — Lessons

Private lessons only

No group classes. Every session is built around you — or you and one other person — and shaped to whatever you’re trying to get better at.

One-on-one coaching

Built around your goals

Whether you’re learning the game, looking to improve, or you simply want a great hitting session, we make every lesson productive, enjoyable, and tailored to your goals.

What we work on

  • Technique

Grip, swing and contact, built properly from the start so everything after it comes easier.

  • Movement

Footwork and positioning, so you arrive at the ball ready to hit it well.

  • Consistency

Keeping the ball in play. It’s the single most valuable thing you can own on a court.

  • Match play

Serving, returning and playing points, so what you practise actually shows up in a real match.

05 — Questions

Things people ask first

I’ve never played tennis at all. Is that okay?

Completely. We work with total beginners all the time, and a first lesson starts from holding the racket and making contact.

Can my child take lessons?

Yes. We coach kids and adults, and the session is adjusted to their age and level.

Where do lessons happen?

Almost anywhere in Chicago. Tell us your neighbourhood and we’ll arrange a court near you.

Can I share a lesson with someone?

Yes. Two people is $110 an hour, which works out at $55 each. Plenty of people come with a friend, a partner, or their kid.

Do I need my own racket?

No. If you don’t have one you can borrow a racket for free. Buy your own once you know you want to keep going.

How do I pay?

Cash or Zelle.

What happens if it rains?

Your coach will let you know before the lesson and reschedule it for another time, at no extra charge.

Is there a discount for booking more?

Yes. Ten sessions is $950 — $95 a lesson, which saves you $50 against booking them one at a time.
